Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Qualified for: Complete refund except for processing charges

Processing Duration: 5-7 business days

Processing Charge: €50 for credit card payments

Requirements: Cancellation must be made in written form via email or phone contact

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Qualified for: Half of the payment for the entire charter

Processing Duration: 7-10 business days

Processing Charge: €25 deducted from the refunded amount

Requirements: A legitimate reason is required; associated administrative costs incurred

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Qualified for: No possibility of refund

Exception: Situations of urgency may be considered

Alternative: An allowance for a charter may be given at the discretion of the management

Requirements: Proof is required for emergency scenarios

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Our highest concern is your safety. If the captain, certified by our company, declares weather conditions unsafe for sailing, we provide several alternatives:

  • Complete Refund: If rescheduling is not feasible, a full refund will be offered
  • Reschedule: Rebook the charter to a future date without additional fees
  • Charter Credit: A credit that is valid for one year from the original charter date

Weather Assessment Procedure

We conduct a thorough weather evaluation which includes:

  • Assessment of wind speeds and patterns
  • Surveillance of sea conditions and wave heights
  • Predictions on visibility and rain
  • Appraisal of Coastal Guard bulletins and cautions
  • Inspection by professional captain for safety concerns

Timeline for Decision: Determinations regarding weather cancellations are made at most 4 hours prior to the planned departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Urgent Circumstances

Medical emergencies are unforeseen. Special consideration might be granted for circumstances such as:

  • Sudden health issues or injuries that necessitate hospital care
  • Death within the immediate family circle
  • Urgent military orders or recall
  • Compulsory jury service or judicial summon
  • Natural calamities disrupting travel

Proof Needed

For processing requests of emergency refunds, necessary documents include:

  • Medical verification or hospital records
  • Certificate of death (when applicable)
  • Military directives
  • Judicial notice or jury service documentation
  • Emergency announcements or advisories on travel

Processing: Upon submission of the required documents, emergency refunds take 3-5 business days.

Operational Cancellations

Equipment Malfunctions

Should the designated craft suffer mechanical failures that are irreparable:

  • Substitute Vessel: A similar replacement vessel will be sought
  • Full Refund: If an appropriate substitute is unavailable
  • Partial Refund: If the alternative offered is priced differently
  • Indemnity: Additional compensation might be offered for the hassle

Crew Issues

In the rare instance that certified crew is unattainable:

  • We will endeavor to arrange a replacement crew when possible
  • A complete refund will be provided if the charter cannot be operated
  • Opportunity to reschedule at no extra charge

Refund Processing

Method of Repayment

Refunds are reverted back to the original method utilized for payment:

  • Credit Cards: Within 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: Within 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: Within 3-5 business days

Credit Card Handling

A €50 charge for cancellations made over 72 hours ahead

Bank Transfer Handling

A €25 charge for all bank transfer repayments

International Transactions

Extra charges may be applicable for transactions across borders

Charter Credits

Occasions for Credit Issuance

In specific situations, charter credits may be granted instead of refunds:

  • Cancellations made within less than 24-hours notice
  • Charters called off due to weather
  • Requests for voluntary rescheduling
  • Inconveniences due to operational factors

Terms for Credits

  • Validity: Effective for 12 months from issuance
  • Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to others
  • Value: Equivalent to the full charge of the charter (excludes processing fees)
  • Applicability: Usable for any available charters
  • Expiration: There will be no extensions past 12 months

Partial Service Repayments

Disturbances in Service

If an ongoing charter experience is interfered with or cut short by events within our influence:

  • Refund is prorated based on the segment of unutilized service
  • Future charter credit matching the undelivered service's value
  • Offer of complimentary services or upgrades

Interruptions Caused by the Guest

If a charter concludes prematurely due to the actions or safety breaches of a guest:

  • No reimbursement for the remaining duration
  • The full payment is still required to be settled
  • Potential additional fees could be charged

Dispute Resolution

In case of disagreement with a refund judgement, the following can be pursued:

  • An assessment request to our team of managers
  • Submitting further details or proof
  • Attempting to reconcile through consumer advocacy groups
  • Exploring legal options as per the jurisdiction's laws

Our customer team will acknowledge your query within a day, review against our policy, deliver an outcome in 2 days and process sanctioned refunds as per the timeframes given.

  • All petitions for refunds must be documented in written form
  • Reimbursements are issued in €, irrespective of the original payment's currency
  • Purchase of travel insurance is highly suggested
  • Alterations to this policy will be notified 30 days in advance
  • Refunds abide by all relevant tax laws and regulations
